Food Cupboard Program

NOTICE: Due to COVID 19 restrictions we ask that any non-perishable food donations be brought to the Newark United Methodist Church on weekdays between the hours of 1:00 - 3:00 pm. To donate perishable items (turkeys, etc.) please Contact Us to make special arrangements.

NAWC maintains a well-stocked food cupboard at the Newark United Methodist Church (69 E. Main St.) that serves people in need with three meals a day for one week.

Volunteers work at least once a month preparing groceries for clients referred to us by the Hudson State Service Center, as well as from local churches. NAWC both purchases food for the cupboard and accepts donations from local churches, collections/food drives as well as businesses.
